Yes, Medicare is a federal health insurance program available in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa. Beneficiaries enrolled in Original Medicare (Parts A and B) can receive covered services from any provider in the U.S. that accepts Medicare.

If you are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan (Part C), the plan may have network restrictions, but it’s still required to cover emergency services anywhere in the U.S. – regardless of network limitations.
